We're looking for nominees for our Rising Star Award!
In the spring of 2026, the Scarborough Walk of Fame will induct new Stars into the Walk of Fame.
Scarborough Walk of Fame Rising Star Award
This award recognizes a young person who is 16 to 25 years of age and has demonstrated leadership and significant community engagement.
Each candidate must:
- be 16-25 years of age
- have been born in or have significant roots in Scarborough
- have demonstrated leadership and significant community engagement
- agree to accept the nomination and be present at the induction event Only successful candidates will be contacted.
Preparing for Your Nomination
- Think of an eligible candidate and tell us why they deserve to be inducted into the Scarborough Walk of Fame.
- Prepare examples of how they have demonstrated outstanding qualities.
- Gather your nominee’s contact information or name and phone number of someone who can give us their contact info.
- Gather the names and contact information of references familiar with your nominee’s accomplishments.
